There will be an American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) Evaluations, inside the gyms, at the end of the summer sessions by reservation only, open to students, members, and the public. All breeds, purebred or mixed, are welcome.
The evaluations will be:
- Wednesday, 06/05/13, 7:30 PM, Harold Avenue Recreation Center, 23400 Harold Ave., Port Charlotte
- Monday, 06/10/13, 7:30 PM, South County Regional Park, 670 Cooper St., Punta Gorda
Call 941-613-DOGS (3647) or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make a reservation to take the CGC evaluation.
If you are presently a student in either of the class sessions starting on April 29 or May 1, there is no extra charge. If you are not presently a student, the fee is $20.
If you do not have a current shot record on file for your dog, please provide one prior to the test date showing up-to-date vaccinations for 1) Rabies, 2) Distemper, 3) Parvovirus, and 4) Bordetella, by faxing it to 941-639-3916. Please be sure your name and contact information and your dog’s name are on the record.
There will be a 6-week CGC Class Wednesdays, June 26 – July 31, 2013, 7:30 – 8:20 PM, inside the gym at the South County Regional Park. The tuition is $80 and includes the CGC evaluation on 07/31.
