PRDF is now offering limited obedience classes on Monday evenings at the Harold Avenue Recreation Center in Port Charlotte.
The members of Peace River Dog Fanciers recently decided to offer obedience classes on Monday evenings at the Harold Avenue Recreation Center in Port Charlotte — “north of the bridge” — in addition to our regular Wednesday evening classes in Punta Gorda.
Behind the decision is the growing demand for dog obedience classes in Charlotte County, combined with our desire to make obedience classes more accessible for folks in Port Charlotte, Englewood, and other areas in the northern part of the county.
Initially, the Port Charlotte classes will be limited. The first six-week session at the Harold Avenue facility, which starts Jan. 23, 2012, will offer Beginning Obedience at 6:30 pm and Intermediate Obedience at 7:30 pm.
Anyone interested in taking one of the classes in either Port Charlotte or Punta Gorda must contact us to pre-register. Class size is limited, and classes usually fill up fast.
